INTA (Spanish acronym for National Institute for Aerospace Technology) is a public institution, specialized in aeronautic and aerospace research and development. The institute develops its activity for R+D activities in which it is included technologies under the ambit of the R+D+i National plan and Frameworks programmes of the European Union and also activities of a commercial nature such us testing, experimentation, certifying and technical assessment to Administration Authorities and to those of National Industry in the Aerospace field. In recent years INTA has also become more involved in European projects, part of being an active member in most international aerospace forum like ICAS, EREA, NATO RTO, EDA, GARTEUR, etc.
Isdefe is a State-owned trading company created in September 1985, through resolution of the Council of Ministers, to provide consulting, engineering, technical support, program management and project execution services for the Spanish Public Administration and international public entities. Isdefe, as a resource of the State General Administration, is part of the structure of the Ministry of Defence of Spain, under the Secretary of State for Defence, and chaired by the Secretary of State. The Board of Administration consists of directors members of the ministries of Defence (Central Body and Armed Forces), Development and Economy and Treasury. Defence and security, transportation, aerospace, information and communication technologies, energy and infrastructure are the main sectors in which Isdefe develops its business. Thanks to the Insa and Isdefe merger in 2012, aerospace engineering services have been included in the portfolio of Isdefe.
GMV is a privately owned technological business group with an international presence. It was founded in 1984. Currently GMV is located in Spain (Madrid, Barcelona and Valladolid), Portugal (Lisbon), USA (Rockville, Maryland) and Poland (Warsaw). The GMV group has a total of 1100 employees. GMV offers its solutions, services and products in very diverse sectors: Aeronautics, Banking and Finances, Space, Defence, Health, Security, Transportation, Telecommunications, and Information Technology for Public Administration and large corporations.
ONERA (Office National d’Etudeset de Recherches Aérospatiales) is the French national aerospace research centre. It is a public research establishment, with eight major facilities in France and about 2,000 employees, including 1,500 scientists, engineers and technicians. ONERA was originally created by the French government in 1946. The research carried out at ONERA results in computation codes, methods, tools, technologies, materials and other products and services which are used to design and manufacture everything to do with aerospace: civil and military aircraft, helicopters and tilt rotors, propulsion systems, orbital systems, space transport, missile systems, defence systems, networked systems and security systems.
PIAP is the Polish public research institute (it belongs to the Top Ten of Polish research institutes) developing new technologies since 1965. Presently PIAP employs 260 people, among them more than 150 scientists. PIAP specialists have wide, interdisciplinary experience in realization of unique solutions in the field of information technology, defence technologies, robotics, security, telemetry as well as artificial intelligence. Activities include the realization of unique technical solutions and R&D work in projects co-financed by European Commission, European Defence Agency as well as Polish Ministry of Defence and Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education. PIAP specialists are experienced in realization of the unique technical solutions for IT systems for hazards monitoring and telemetry systems covering also smart sensors’ network and different methods of data transmission, also for critical infrastructure. It should be highlighted that PIAP, as a public research institute, hires former police officers experienced in prevention and threat counter of cyber attacks against critical infrastructure and public networks.
The University of Bologna is claimed to be the oldest academia in the world, being founded in 1088 A.D. It has a strong tradition in research and education in almost every field of the human knowledge. More than 100 Departments and Research Centres, 23 Faculties and around 100,000 students are the main figures of the University of Bologna. Its annual budget is approximately 700 M€. It has a potential number of 5500 people committed to research activity with an estimated budget of more than 60M€. In 2006 University of Bologna has gained more than 100 patents. The University is nowadays divided in 5 main campuses. From 1992 a full set of knowledge, resources and experience in aerospace were gathered together inside the II School of Engineering – Forlì Campus, a town located 65Km south-east of Bologna. The School, located alongside the International Airport of Forlì, has allowed establishing its main laboratory in an hangar inside the airport, solution unique in Italy, where many flying activities can be carried out.
Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH – AIT and its subsidiaries Austria's largest non-university research institute, is among the European research organisations a specialist in the key infrastructure issues of the future. Founded in 1956, it performs domain specific as well as interdisciplinary applied research in co-operation with industry, universities on national as well as European and international level. In Austria, there are over 1000 employees - largely based at the main facilities Vienna Tech Gate, Vienna TECHbase, Seibersdorf, Wr. Neustadt, Ranshofen and Leoben – working on the development of those tools, technologies and solutions for Austrian industry considered to be of future relevance and which comply with the institute's motto "Tomorrow Today".The AIT contribution to this project will come from the group Safe and Autonomous Systems (SAS) and from the group Information Management (SIM). Both groups belong to the Department of Safety & Security which has about 145 researchers. The core competences of the SAS group are on design, development, integration, and verification & validation of dependable and reliable embedded control systems. It covers the complete system architecture from the basic hardware, real time signal processing, sensors and actuators to software for a broad variety of applications for autonomous and cooperative systems and covers also hazard and RAMS analyses.

TOFAS have been established in 1968 and jointly owned by Koç Holding and Fiat S.p.A., is today one of Fiat Auto’s three globally strategic production hubs. TOFAS is a global player and the only Turkish producer exporting both cars and light commercial vehicles throughout the world, such as the compact sedan Fiat Linea, in addition to the Doblo and Fiat’s signature model, the Minicargo/Fiorino from its TOFAS Bursa plant. Production capacity of TOFAS is 400,000 vehicles per year with approximately 7000 person labour force. SFU - SIGMUND FREUD PRIVATE UNIVERSITY, CEUSS | Center for European Security Studies (Austria)
Sigmund Freud Private University (SFU) is a SSH (social sciences and humanities) based university with the two pillars of psychoanalysis and psychology. Among other institutes from the SSH sector, SFU hosts the CEUSS | Center for European Security Studies that acts as an interdisciplinary centre of frontier research and postgraduate teaching in European security research. CEUSS staff has background in political science, sociology, psychology, public administration and cultural studies. Research and coordination activities include scenario foresight for the planning of security research; methods of new security studies; security cultures; Common Security and Defence Policy; disaster research and comprehensive communication in crisis and disaster management. CEUSS has taken part in a number of security research projects, including the FP7 projects CPSI (Changing Perceptions of Security and Interventions), VITRUV (Vulnerability Identification Tools for Resilience Enhancements of Urban Environments), and its flagship project FOCUS (Foresight Security Scenarios: Mapping Research to a Comprehensive Approach to Exogenous EU Roles) that its coordinates.
The Central Unit of Special Systems is a unit of the National Police which depends of the Technical and Economic Division, created in 1985 to research on technical solutions for the most complicated and important police, which conducts the CNP, anywhere the national territory, including regions that are autonomous police. Employs 200 people, most of them telecommunications technicians, audio, video and other electronic surveillance. All of them are controlled and led by various different engineering graduates. The field of action of this unit are the electronic surveillance and search and adjustment of any equipment, incorporating new technologies can be applied to police investigations to be more effective and, if possible, efficient.
The Spanish Guardia Civil is a part of the State’s Defence & Security Corps and takes part of Security Bodies in Spain. As one of the national agents with responsibilities on security, the Spanish Constitution establishes as their prime mission to protect the free exercise of the rights and liberties of the Spanish people and guarantee security of the citizenship, all of it under the responsibility of the Spanish Government. As a Police Force it performs general tasks like Public Security and Order, Criminal Police, Intelligence and Counter Terrorism and also Administrative Police. Guardia Civil do also specifics tasks like Border & Customs Police, Road Traffic Police – interurban, Firearms and explosives control, Coastal security, Security of certain building and Environment and Nature protection Guardia Civil has developed various investigation initiatives like systems and data bases, which has been contributed to lute counter terrorism and organized crime.

LACROIX Company was founded in 1848 by Mr. Etienne LACROIX. It has historically developed products linked with pyrotechnical shows and is considered today as one of the leaders in that domain. Since 1950, the company is interested in application of pyrotechnics to global security. It combines activities in developing pyrotechnics for defence and law enforcement applications and for manufacturers. LACROIX has a Pyrotechnic wide range of grenades providing all types of effects (bursts, shock, blast, blinding, deafening, smoke, multiple), signalling (illuminating, sound, smoke, multiple) illuminating (visible, infrared, fixed position, launched, etc.). It also has a full range of launchers, munitions, grenades and sprays of varied calibres with non-lethal effects (tear gas, pepper, blast, kinetic, stun, etc..) to be used by individuals transported on operational, fixed or remote controlled vehicles for the protection of permanent or temporary, land or maritime in carrying out services/operations of private security or to maintain or re-establish public order.
The Israel national Police (INP) is under the Ministry of Public Security. It is a professional force, comprised of some 30,000 sworn officers reinforced by 50,000 Civil Guard volunteers. The INP is the only police organization in Israel and therefore its work includes all aspects of conventional policing, from the local through the national levels. Its work is guided by the values and principles of the democratic government of the state of Israel. The task of the INP is to maintain the quality of life, law enforcement and enforcement of traffic regulations, as well as providing guidance on preventive measures for the safety and protection of the population. The INP is responsible for: public security, maintaining public order, securing public events and rallies, riots & crowd control situations, dealing with IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices), crime fighting, detective work, covert operations, intelligence, investigating suspects, traffic enforcement, operating the Civil Guard, handling youth violence, educational programs and other community related activities.
ZABALA Innovation Consulting, S.A.(Spain)
Independent international consultancy founded in 1986 specialised in comprehensive consultancy of both R&D and Innovation management and international cooperation for the industry, administrations, technology centres and research centres. ZABALA’s team is composed of 150 qualified workers with complementary backgrounds (engineering, life sciences, economy, law, etc.) distributed in its seven offices located in Pamplona, Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Vigo, Seville and Brussels. In AEROCEPTOR project ZABALA will give support to the coordinator and all the partners in the day to day management of the project and in the administrative and financial issues; that is, assistance and coaching at administrative level. ZABALA will be also in charge of the creation and maintenance of the project webpage.


The project also counts on the collaboration from Spanish Agency for Data Protection, It will ensure, together with the involvement within the consortium of experts on SSH domain, that all legal requirements on data protection and privacy by design are met.
